SA: Woman injured in house fire
ADELAIDE, Feb 9 AAP - An elderly woman is recovering in hospital after being burnedin a house fire in the Adelaide beachside suburb of Glenelg North this morning.
A police spokeswoman said the fire broke out at about 9am (CDT) in a house in LeaneAvenue and caused an estimated $25,000 damage.
She said a nurse visiting the house to administer medication sounded the alarm aftermanaging to speak to the woman through a window.
