Biting sarcasm, brilliant read.(Life)

There has been an outpouring of really entertaining genre novels in recent years, crime, sci-fi, chick-lit, and up there among the leaders of the pack is Sarah Lotz.

In the last three years, she's published three novels - no mean feat - and added the funny legal thriller to our literature. It started with Exhibit A in 2009 which featured a dishevelled lawyer called Georgie Allan. He also happened to be divorced (from The Witch), smoked obsessively, drove a badly littered skedong, and became the owner of a bollocks-licking dog known as Exhibit A.
